Only two months passed between the time I first saw handmade paper and the start of OneWorld Paper.  Impressed by the look and feel of that first stationery set, I learned of the many possibilities for handmade paper:  invitations, business cards, letterhead, journals, photo frames, gift wrap … the list is endless!  Immediately I wanted to share it with my friends, fellow artists and all of you.There are three things I love about the handcrafted paper products I’ve chosen for OneWorldPaper.com.

Our daily lives are filled with machines, radiation, plastics and adverse geomagnetic energies, but we can restore balance with natural influences, such as the beauty and exquisite texture of handmade paper.  These papers retain the essence of the cotton used to make them and are imbued with character by the artisans who handcraft the papers.I particularly enjoy the papers infused with flowers, silk threads, grasses and garlic skins. As a student of feng shui, I believe in “bringing the outside in” – surrounding ourselves with the gifts of nature – which I do with plants, pets … and now paper.

I often hear businesspeople use the phrase “everything communicates.”  It means everything you do (or don’t do),  say (or don’t say), own (or choose not to own) reflects and informs the person you are.  I believe this holds true in all aspects of life.
